Striving for Excellence
Background
I studied dentistry at Queen’s University Belfast and graduated with honours in 2001. After completing vocational training in Scotland, I spent a year working in private practice in Australia. When I returned to Northern Ireland I completed the MFDS examination at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh while also working at Belfast Dental School.
In 2005 I was accepted on to a specialist training programme in Prosthodontics at Edinburgh Dental Institute. In 2007 I completed a Masters Degree in Prosthodontics with Distinction at the University of Edinburgh. Then in 2008 I was successful in the MRD examination at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. I completed specialist training and was accepted onto the General Dental Council specialist list in Prosthodontics.
For the past 12 years I have worked as a Specialist in Prosthodontics at Rosconnor Specialist Dentistry in Ballymoney treating patients on referral from local General Dental Practitioners. More recently, I have also been working out of Stormont Dental Care in Belfast. I have previously worked at David McCaughey Dental and as a clinical tutor supervising final year dental students at Belfast Dental School.
